The June visa bulletin reflects minimal movement from the prior month in several preference classifications and a significant retrogression for EB-1 India. EB-1 Priority Workers for All Chargeability Areas: El Salvador/Guatemala/Honduras, Mexico, Philippines and Vietnam advance 7 weeks to a cut-off date of April 22, 2018. EB-1 China has no movement and remains at February 22, 2017. However, EB-1 India retrogressed over 2 years to a cut-off date of January 1, 2015. DOS expects EB-1 India to return to at least February 22, 2017 for the beginning of the next fiscal year 2020. “Members of the Professions Holding Advanced Degrees or Persons of Exceptional Ability” for China progresses 2 ½ months to August 1, 2016, while EB-2 India continues its very slow movement by advancing 3 days to April 19, 2009. EB-3 “Professionals/Skilled Workers” for the Philippines and India advance 5 months and 3 weeks to November 1, 2018 and July 1, 2009, respectively. EB-3 China jumps 3 weeks to September 15, 2015.
